China's rebar production saw a 12.9% on-year decline over the January-May period, reaching 97.4 million tonnes in total, data from the country's National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) showed. As for May alone, the country's rebar output registered a dip of 12.3% on year to 21.9 million tonnes. However, the May total was 6.4% higher on month.
