China's gross domestic product (GDP) grew 2.5% on year over January-June this year to reach Yuan 56.3 trillion ($8.4 trillion), according to the latest release from the country's National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) on July 15. For the second quarter, GDP increased by 0.4% on year.
