Over August 1-5, Japanese prices of H2 grade scrap for domestic sales had declined for the 14th week by another Yen 1,000/tonne ($7.4/t) on week with supply surplus amid stagnated exports. Market sources expected scrap prices to soften further though scrap generation to become slower with holidays this week.
